I grew up in a creative family with the creative surroundings of Tokyo, where pretty designs from all over the world were easily available. My dad was an entrepreneur and encouraged me to have new and creative ideas. My mom was an artist, she always pointed out to me when she saw something beautiful. My big brother was someone who knew what trends would be before that happens. All of that helped me become more aware of pretty things and beautiful designs, I have always wanted to be an artist myself.
I've been away from home for over 23 years, and my inspirations often come from nostalgic feelings for Japan, simple zen like designs, and nature.
I'm also a mindfulness enthusiast, and I'm very happy that one of my illustrated guided journal, Fill This Page—doing art for mindfulness will be published December 31, 2020!
Also I've been teaching paper flower making on and off lines. Please check my YouTube and Skillshare classes.
